Jeff Carson’s Final Album Released, Plus Police Week Tribute

Jeff Carson 448 Album

As a prominent figure within the country music scene, Jeff Carson made an impact on the 90s country movement. His greatest endeavor in life was his dedication to his community as a police officer for the Franklin Police Department. Now, both legacies are being remembered with emotional tributes.

If you followed Jeff Carson on Instagram, you saw him tease behind-the-scenes moments while recording an album that would serve as a return to country music. He performed guitar-pull-style shows here and there but a spot at the Lee Greenwood birthday bash in Alabama in 2021, appearing in social media videos with Michael Ray, and the talk of a new album was promising to the fans who longed to hear more from the singer. With a renewed interest in 90s country, it set the stage for a welcomed return.

Unfortunately, his untimely death halted what was expected to be a celebration of Jeff Carson’s musical accomplishments. The album, named 448 in homage to his badge number, will now carry on Jeff’s giving spirit. With a $25 donation benefiting the Law Enforcement Assistance Partnership (LEAP), fans will receive the CD. The organization supports officers in need, a cause Jeff Carson was involved in. Make your donation and receive 448 here.

“I know Jeff would be thrilled to know his music is still being released,” says Kim Carson, widow of Jeff Carson. “He loved making music. He loved being a police officer. He loved his peers and fellow friends and artists in the music business. He was just in the best place any human could be in and then all of a sudden he was no longer with us. It’s a sad time for us all, but it’s a joyous time knowing his music is living on and is hopefully going to be discovered by so many new fans listening on the streaming platforms.”

Jeff Carson is joined by several special guests for the record including Craig Morgan, Michael Ray, and Darryl Worley.
